Wowser! That was quite the rain we had the afternoon of Tuesday, May 31. Debbie Rainer, Donna Salle and I stood under cover at the Golf Course and when 4 p.m. rolled around (that is our usual tee time) we left our clubs in our cars and headed into the club house for supper. And we weren’t the only ones. Instead of a lovely game of golf we spent a most enjoyable time browsing the clothing racks, trying on clothes, giggling, laughing, (maybe a bit of gossiping) and enjoying a delicious supper.

Warm weather - what a joy! It is so nice to see the sunshine without a ton of wind. Yes, I know wind doesn’t weigh a lot but it does tend to drag down my spirits when it is a cold wind. I even managed to get out in the garden to do some weeding and cleaning up the winter’s debris. But I didn’t work in the yard on Tuesday, May 24, because I don’t like to use up all my energy and not have anything left for golf.
