A Flea Market was hosted by the Barriere Curling Club on Saturday, Aug. 29 in the Barriere Curling Rink. The Market was also accompanied by a Barriere Lions Club Pancake Breakfast held in the parking lot, with both events reporting in as being successful fundraisers for the community.

Only five Ladies’ Nights left in the 2020 season. The weeks have just flown by. There was talk on Tuesday, Aug. 11, about a storm descending on us but it didn’t happen until we were all safe at home. Forty-three ladies came out to golf, win prizes, dine and chat with friends.

Drive through Lions’ Club Breakfast to join Barriere Curling Rink Flea Market

The Barriere Recreation Society say they will be holding a Flea Market on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Curling Rink. Joining them will be the Barriere Lions Club who will be hosting a drive through Pancake Breakfast at the same time. The events will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
