Little Fort’s Will Dana receives Governor General’s Award

The Governor General’s Award was presented last Friday to Little Fort’s Will Dana. Dana graduated in 2018 from Barriere Secondary. He was presented with the award by Barriere Secondary School vice-principal Mark McVittie during the Barriere Secondary School’s 2019 Graduation Commencement Ceremonies held in the Curling Rink on May 24, 2019.

Martha Matthew was sworn in as a Simpcw First Nation Councilor at a Community Swearing In Ceremony held May 2,2019,in Chu Chua. District of Barriere CAO Colleen Hannigan officiated the swearing in.
