StoryWalk® back at Fadear Park in Barriere

Earlier this month the StoryWalk® boards placed around the oval in Barriere’s Fadear Park received severe damage to their clear covers. Due to the extreme heat of the sun shining directly on them while temperatures reached into the upper high 30 degrees and beyond, the covers crumpled and looked like they had burned. As a result the StoryWalk® boards had to be temporarily removed.

For the second time in just under four years the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association (NTFFRA) has opened up its fairgrounds facility in Barriere to house evacuated livestock and animals displaced by wildfires.
