Well, things were back to normal on July 23 Ladies Golf Night at Chinook Cove.

Lots of chip-ins for July 23…

Flight 3: Karina Scott got a birdie on Hole 1 and Audrey Rilcoe got 2 chip-ins on Holes 5 and 6.
Flight 4: Barb Smith got a chip-in on Hole 8 and Amanda Lampreau got a chip-in on Hole 3.
Those 40 ladies golfed so professionally; it was hard to keep track of all those chip-ins this week!
Closest to the pin or ‘KP’ - Golfers shoot tee shots towards the green which are measured throughout the day for their distance from the flag stick. At the end of the day, the golfer with the best tee shot (the one whose ball was ‘closest to the pin’) wins the prize. Fun fact: ‘closest to the pin’ is often abbreviated as ‘KP’.
Golf ‘Flights’ are a series of smaller competitions within a golf tournament. A ‘Flight’ is a grouping of individual golfers or teams who are competing against one another, instead of the entire field.
Chip-In: The term ‘chip in’ refers to a shot where the ball is struck with a short, low-trajectory shot from around the green and ends up going directly into the hole. It is a successful shot that results in the golfer scoring a birdie or even an eagle, depending on the hole.
