The veteran Marchand opened the scoring 9:12 into the first period with his ninth of the playoffs. He took a loose puck off a faceoff a centre, moved past Edmonton defenceman Mattias Ekholm and beat Pickard high to the glove side.
Marchand is now tied for 23rd all-time in NHL playoff goals with 66, jumping past several players including Montreal Canadiens legend Yvan Cournoyer.
Bennett continued his stellar post-season run, netting his playoff-leading 15th goal at 18:06. After a turnover in the neutral zone, he passed to Panthers winger Matthew Tkachuk, whose shot rebounded into the slot where Bennett pounced and beat Pickard.
Shots in the first period were 8-3 in favour of Florida.
The teams battled through a scoreless second period. In the third, Marchand made it 3-0 at 5:12. Off a defensive zone faceoff, Marchand gained control, then hopped around Edmonton defenceman Jake Walman and beat Pickard.
Edmonton pulled within 3-1 just over two minutes later, when McDavid took a feed from Evan Bouchard at the point and made a nifty move to deke out Bobrovsky and slot home his seventh of the playoffs and first of the Final.
Reinhart restored Florida’s three-goal lead just 46 seconds later. Aleksander Barkov won a loose-puck battle behind the net and slipped it out to Reinhart, whose shot eluded Pickard for his seventh of the post-season.
Edmonton pulled Pickard with five minutes to play in the third period, and Perry made it 4-2 with 3:13 left, firing a long point shot past Bobrovsky. The 40-year-old Perry has 10 goals this post-season.
After a save by Bobrovsky, Eetu Luostarinen fired a 180-foot shot down the ice and into the empty net to complete the scoring. Luostarinen has five playoff goals.
