It was a beautiful sunny day, a perfect day to golf. And, by how long this article is, you can tell a lot of groups golfed well! The bright, cheery sunshine added to the pleasure of a good golf game. With that, let us move onto the winners of the night.
Hole 1: Long drive in 2, Flight 1, went to Leanna Layton and long drive in 2, Flight 2, went to Anita Hill.
Hole 2: Long drive in 2, Flight 3, went to Karina Scott and long drive in 2, Flight 4, went to Liesje Gough.
Hole 3: Had a long putt pin open to all flights and Flight 3's Kate Whitmore won long putt.
Hole 4: Only two KP winners for Hole 4 this week. KP, Flight 2, went to Babes Shanko and KP, Flight 4, went to Wanda Amos.
Hole 5: Battle for long drive on Hole 5. Long drive, Flight 1, went to Susan Mitchell. Long drive, Flight 2, went to Trudy Forsythe. Long drive, Flight 3, went to Jamie Mosdell and long drive, Flight 4, went to Theresa Robinson.
Hole 6: Only two KP winners again, only this time on Hole 6. KP, Flight 3, went to Suzie Price and KP in 2, Flight 4, went to Liesje Gough.
Hole 7: Before we move onto the Hole 7 winners, let us say Rest in Peace to the balls of Nicole Pickersgills, Theresa Robinson, Teresa Stirling (x2), Leslie Stirling, Wanda Amos (x2), and Rohan Onufreychuk.
KP in 2, split between Flights 1 and 2, went to Flight 1's Susan Newberry. KP in 2, split between Flights 3 and 4, went to Flight 3's Darleen LeCerf.
Hole 8: Long putt, Flight 4, went to Nicole Pickersgill.
Hole 9: Long putt, open to all flights, went to Flight 3's Kate Whitmore. Great putting!
Least number of putts went to Debbie Legaree, by retro, with a score of 14. An impressive win by retro, because two other ladies also got 14 putts for this ladies night. Most number of putts went to Darleen LeCerf with a score of 25.
Now for the flight winners of the night! Flight 1: low gross went to Susan Newberry with a score of 47 and low net went to Donna Salle with a score of 34.5. Flight 2: low gross went to Debbie Legaree with a score of 50 and low net went to Cathy Paul with a score of 35. Flight 3: low gross went to Jamie Mosdell with a score of 52 and low net went to Suzie Price with a score of 33. Flight 4: low gross went to Liesje Gough with a score of 53 and second low gross went to Theresa Robinson with a score of 55. Great scores all around.
We had two chip-ins this week, and from the same group. Nicole Pickersgill had a chip-in on Hole 3 and Theresa Robinson had a chip-in on Hole 9. What a good way to end a very good game.
