Representatives from Purity Feed and the Thompson-Nicola Invasive Plant Management Committee of the Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) will be providing information about invasive plant control and programs offered within the TNRD at an Invasive Plant Field Day, Thursday, Aug. 9, at the North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds in Barriere (4856 Dunn Lake Road.

Deb McDougall was looking for a volunteer painting crew the week of July 17 to help paint over a large amount of graffiti sprayed on the Heffley Creek Hall, and to also do some minor repairs after vandals hit the building.

Jake Bradley is the 2018 B.C. Junior High School Junior Bull Riding Champion and will be competing for the Canadian title next weekend at the Junior High School Finals in Merritt, July 27 -29.
