NT Fall Fair provides plants for senior gardeners

The North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association (NTFFRA) advise they applied last spring for a New Horizons For Seniors grant, and that part of their successful application was to request funding so they could pay the rental fee for Barriere Community Garden plots being utilized by seniors. The grant also provided for the cost of purchasing flowers and vegetables to help those folks to get their garden plots off to a good start.
