‘Dogs’ for donations at Interior Savings garage sale

Interior Savings Service Representative Tanya Speer was in charge of serving up the hot dogs outside the Interior Savings Credit Union and Insurance building during their annual Garage Sale on Saturday, April 30. The event received mountains of garage sale items donated to the event, with all the funds raised going to local organizations. Dunn Lake Road access to Clearwater closed daily until May 9

A sign at the corner of Barriere Town Road and Dunn Lake Road advises there is no access to Clearwater traveling north on Dunn Lake Road. Drive BC posted the closure on Thursday, April 28, noting the closure is due to bridge maintenance taking place at the Clearwater Station Bridge. The closure is expected to continue until Monday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Pedestrian access will be granted. The road sign also advises, “For issues call 1-800-661-2025.
