Shawn and Suzie Fadear said they were amazed at the overwhelming response they received from their invitation to meet them as the new owners of the Irly Building Centre in Barriere over coffee and donuts on Feb. 1st.

The Star/Journal office has recently received a number of calls from Barriere residents and businesses asking about how the Business/Business Person of the Year nominations and voting is judged.

His 132 page Travelling Poetry Trilogy is packed full of adventures as he travels through Central America, Mexico, and Canada. Coallier relates all that he sees and experiences, including unexpected romances, and a girl he loved but “couldn’t bring home”.
