From our archives in 2013 - The Family Parade at the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo was well attended in 2013 with over 60 entries.

Of the many hundreds of moose that lived in Wells Gray Park in the 1960s, Jerry the Moose has become a legend and mascot for Wells Gray Park. Jerry was a real moose raised and studied with his growth documented by a team in film and journalling.

The Barriere Heritage Museum has many interesting artifacts and items on display throughout the year. Two summer students are hired each year to give tours, write small articles and assist with the museum maintenance.
