Baby, the rain must fall. Baby, the wind must blow. Wherever my ball leads me, Baby, I must go. Baby, I must go. I know I have quoted Glenn Yarbrough before but the weather was so….terrible comes to mind….on Tuesday that I just had to quote him again.
A small group of 13 ladies decided to weather the storm and gather for their usual Tuesday golf game.
It was noted that the Flight 1 ladies chickened out so their usual prizes went into the door prizes and all ladies present for prize presentations took home at least one door prize.
Flight 2 winners were Laurie Hawley (low gross) with a score of 42 and Trudy Forsythe (low net) with a score of 50 (33.5). Marie Hakes won low gross in Flight 2 with a score of 47 and Anita Hill won low net with a score of 55 (36). Low gross in Flight 4 went to Karina Scott with a 61 and second low gross went to Lynda Dunlop (67). Flight sponsors are Sundown Construction, Quality Contractors, Kelly McNabney of TriPeaks Physio, and Steve Passmore of Sun Life Financial.
Deb Rainer and I (Leslie Stirling) both had Chip-Ins. We were excited because we are in different flights and did not have to share the prize money. The rest of the pots were unclaimed and held over for the next Ladies’ Night.
Some of them are getting quite large. Anita Hill putted to perfection by using her putter only 15 times to win the Least Putts Prize. Karina Scott used her putter the most often (24) to win the Most Putts Prize. The ladies winning pin prizes this week were Anita Hill (2), Karina Scott (2), Laurie Hawley (2), Trudy Forsythe (2), Loretta Gammel, Deb Rainer and Rose Seymour.

The extended forecast is not looking good but heh…how often is the weatherman (lady) right on? I am hoping they aren’t. Either way we will be there. Hope to see you at the course soon.
