BSS Class of 2025 - Caps fly high as grads head into the future

Graduation weekend in Barriere was packed full of good wishes, celebrations, photos and a formal prom as grads look to a promising future

The Class of 2025 from Barriere Secondary School donned the traditional blue caps and gowns on Friday June 13 to honour each other and years of hard work, fun, camaraderie and memorable moments.

Within the crowded Barriere Curling Club arena which had been transformed into a stunning blue and white backdrop the stage was set and lined with buckets full of lush flower arrangements as family, friends, guest speakers, presenters, and staff cheered on each graduate walking in to take a seat.

The speeches, centring around accomplishments, dreams, and goals, were shared directly to the graduates with emotion, pride and wishes of hope for their future.

On Saturday June 14 the cheers followed the grads as they paraded in formal wear in or on a various modes of transportation to their graduation prom dinner held at the fairgrounds to continue the celebrations together.
