Organizers of this year's Terry Fox run said Fox blessed them with beautiful weather and a wonderful group of 75 participants (not counting the puppies)!
"We raised a whopping $7,423 with the top pledge sheet of $1810 brought in by Kris Luison," said Kathy Cooper in an email.
"We couldn’t have been so successful without our wonderful volunteers! We had a team of 14 which included Lesley Harpaurer and the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Ambassadors, Dylan Luison as emcee and Babes Shanko providing the warm-up before the run."
Cooper also sent a shout out to Cst. Jeremy Galvin from the Barriere RCMP for ensuring the safety of the runners, walkers and cyclists on the route.
