The Barriere Secondary grads held a bottle drive on Saturday, Oct. 19 to raise funds for their graduation celebrations. Although the day was a bit damp and chilly, volunteers and a horse trailer managed to pull in many bottle donations. Some of the donations went to the Barriere Bottle Depot and others were trucked into Kamloops. Total funds raised are still pending.
The bottle drive will be ongoing and people can continue to drop off their donations of cans and bottles at the Barriere Bottle Depot, but please make sure to let the depot know it is for the grad class account.
