Re: Strahl elected to fifth term; continues to back Poilievre, The Progress, May 2, 2025

I was disappointed to read Mark Strahl’s comments that the Conservative focus would be that Canadians go to the polls sooner rather than later. Did he not hear his leader say that they must work towards two common goals; Canada’s identity and developing potential economic initiatives that benefit all Canadians?

Partisanship must be set aside for the good of the country. It’s time for our politicians to be adults and lead/act accordingly. Veterans fought for our freedom and for what Canada is today. How sad to see narrow-minded politicians disregard the potential of our country for the sake of power.
