The Barriere legion branch #242 donated $800 to Barriere Search and Rescue

Barriere Search and Rescue (BSAR) accepted a donation from the Royal Canadian Legion branch #242 on February 22 in the amount of $800.

"We are grateful to the legion for the donation which will go toward the upgrades of our communications, specifically the tower and we look forward to working with our local legion in the future," said Marc Tremblay, president of BSAR.

The donation will assist BSAR with the installation of the radio tower which allows them to communicate with the teams while tasked out in BSAR areas.
