Another thousand bursaries is up for grabs this year, and there are still over 300 available. In its sixth year of an eight year commitment, Interior Savings will award up to $1 million in bursaries – that’s one thousand $1000 bursaries available to help students achieve their dreams of completing post-secondary.

Residents in a rural area outside of Barriere, B.C., have a beef with BC Hydro’s handling of a power shutdown in that area on Feb. 8 of this year.
