It has been a busy start to the year in the Barriere Elementary grade 5/6 classroom, and thanks to the generous help and support from our community we have been doing some exciting things.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Dec. 12, when Late Night Shopping comes to Barriere. Numerous local businesses will be remaining open until 8 p.m. that evening offering exciting sales, and great opportunities for shoppers to find those special gifts or essential items for seasonal celebrations. Home based businesses will also be available until 8 p.m. in the Barriere Legion basement, and at Bear Lane Bistro, with the Legion also offering specials on wings and drinks in the bar upstairs.
