A wildfire near Sugar Lake appears to be out.
BC Wildfire Service has removed the blaze from its mapping system, as of Tuesday.
UPDATE: 1:50 p.m: The wildfire near Sugar Lake has been held.
Peaking at 0.9 hectares in size, the fire has been held by BC Wildfire Service.
ORIGINAL June 16: BC Wildfire Service is reporting a new blaze north of Sugar Lake.
The fire was discovered on Sunday, June 15 and is approximately 0.9 hectares in size.
Lightning is the suspected cause of the fire, which is out of control.
It is located near the north east end of Sugar Lake.
