Barriere RCMP are investigating an incident where a child said they were approached and followed by an unknown man wearing a black hoodie on Friday, April 18.
Police said they received a report at 9:26 p.m. from the child's parent.
"Further patrols by the parent in the area revealed a white Dodge parked near the bandshell, believed to have been associated," noted Cpl. Kyle Camalush in a news release. "Later that night, the same vehicle was again observed with a male occupant."
Barriere RCMP are continuing to investigate and are asking the public for information.
Anyone who was in or around Fadear Park on the evening of April 18, and observed anything suspicious, or, has surveillance or dash camera footage that may be relevant is asked to contact the Barriere RCMP at 260-267-9918.
