The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #242 in Barriere held their annual installation of officers and Honours and Awards Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 13, in the Barriere Legion Hall. The turnout of members was very good and the meal served up by the Ladies Auxiliary was enjoyed by all.
Here are the list of executive and officers installed for 2018:
Ladies Auxiliary: President Dorothy Carby, vice-president Eleanor Anderson, secretary/ treasurer Eileen Miers, director Pat Brow, and past-president Kelly Searle.
Legion Executive: President Glenn Reid, 1st vice-president Carol Clark, 2nd vice-president Vern Buker, secretary Eileen Miers, Directors - Emil Gammel and Lisa Quiding, and Sergeant of Arms MaryAnn Schewchuk.
