Local North Thompson Valley musician Rick Slack said he was thrilled with the turn out to the Pre-Valentine’s Day Community Coffee House held in the evening on Feb. 10 at the Little Fort Community Hall.
“It was a packed house on Saturday night with a great variety of nine local and area acts taking the stage with approximately 60 people in the audience,” said Slack.
According the organizer, musicians from Barriere, Clearwater, Little Fort and as far away as Savona performed. The Little Fort Recreation Society (LFRS) provided the coffee and LFRS members contributed a “great assortment of treats” in support of the event.
“When I asked the audience if they would like to see more of these musical events in Little Fort, the answer was a collective “Yes!” from the crowd followed by applause that warmed my heart. I am grateful to those who helped to make this first performance night such a treat,” he said.
Watch for future dates for more musical coffee house events. Admission and Concession is by donation only.
