Volunteering can be uplifting - give it a try!

In a recent social media post announcing an unavoidable cancellation to an event by a local non-profit group, by a sincerely apologetic organizer, the ‘tone’ in the thread of comments took on a judgemental and quite accusatory nature by a resident in response. As this negativity picked up speed with others joining in on the ‘social’ attack I found myself becoming increasingly concerned for the poster, a person who many of us in the valley find beyond reproach.
