A Lotto 6/49 ticket purchased in the Lone Butte area on May 17 turned out to be worth $1 million.

The lucky ticket has the numbers 08368314-02 and was purchased within Lone Butte. Andrea Fuoco, an external communications specialist with the B.C. Lottery Corporation, said that at this time, they do not know the identity of the winner.

"Lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize and all tickets are valid for one year after the date of the draw," Fuoco noted.

Lotto 6/49 holds draws twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday.
