The Children’s Therapy and Family Resource Centre, Barriere Elementary School PAC, and Success By 6 are presenting a Parent Workshop Series called R.E.S.T. (Regulation of Emotions, Sensation, and Thinking) .
Who should attend: Parents ready to try out tools to help their children be calmer and more focused, and to help them manage everyday emotions and activity level. The focus of the workshop is on parents of preschoolers and primary students.
The workshop will be lecture style and includes handouts, experiential activities, review of real-life examples, and take home self-regulation tools.
The workshop will be presented in two three hour sessions on April 18, and April 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Snacks are provided.
