Barriere Secondary School Principal’s Report for the week of Nov. 13.
Earlier this week, both Junior Girls’ Volleyball teams competed in the playoffs. Both teams played well and showed the incredible improvement that they made over the course of the season. The Grade 7 team also played at Pac Way and won five of six sets! Their final game will be on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The school held a short celebration for the Boys’ Volleyball team as the players headed to the Okanagan championships in Lumby. The hallway pep rally was a small way to recognize the players and wish them luck at their games.
This weekend there is an opportunity for students to volunteer setting up the Christmas lights and decorations at the Fair Grounds. Interested students should arrive on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. and speak with Mrs. Mairs when they arrive.
