The Barriere and District Riding Club hosted a fun event for Family Day Monday, Feb, 19 at the North Thompson Fall Fair Grounds in Barriere.
It was an action-packed gymkhana consisting of three events on horseback with a barrel race, pole bending and a stake race all in the indoor arena. A kids’ stick-horse race was a barrel of laughs following the horseback events.
There were a total of 22 entries for the gymkhana with some riders coming in from as far away as Merritt.
