Ladies Night Masquerade Ball a huge success in support of Anti-Violence

Local community in Barriere shines in support for anti-violence programs

The Anti-Violence Advocates Society (AVAS) in Barriere is a local, inclusive, action-oriented volunteer group advocating and working towards a society that will not tolerate violence or abuse. Approximately 100 guests attended the exclusive event.

AVAS hosted a Ladies Night Masquerade fundraiser on Sat. Feb. 24 in Barriere at the Barrier Lions Hall with an evening of glamorous fashion, complete with masks, a cocktail hour and dinner followed by a dance to benefit the efforts of the anti-violence program in the North Thompson Valley. Dinner created by Chef Sorrenson.
