“On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 242 we would like to thank everyone for your continued support of our Meat Draw,” said a Barriere Legion representative during last weekends presentation of funds raised through the Legion’s weekly Meat Draws.
Cheques were presented to the following recipients: Barriere Elementary School Grade 6 Class, Barriere Elementary School PAC, Barriere and District Food Bank, Barriere First Responders, and the North Thompson Activity Centre Society. Funds are also earmarked for Barriere Secondary School Bursaries that will be awarded in May of this year.
