Austin Kelly

I graduated from KPU with my bachelor's in journalism in 2024. I'm a politics nerd and love to learn about city councils. I was born and raised in Surrey, B.C. and feel very lucky to have joined the Black Press team at the Quesnel Cariboo Observer.

I got my start in a journalism environment at KPU's student paper as the photo editor in my final year of classes.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Quesnel, meeting folks and telling stories in the Cariboo.
