Megan Osland has a win on the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour.

On Sunday, June 22, the 32-year-old shot a final round 70 (-2) to win the inaugural St. Louis Women's Championship.

The Kelowna native had an unbelievable start to the tournament on Thursday, June 19, birdieing the first seven holes. That round, she finished with a weekend best 65 to hold an early lead after the first round.

Osland then shot a two-over 74 on Friday, but responded with a one-under 71 on Saturday to head into Sunday's final round tied with China's Siyen Chen at six under par.

On Sunday, Osland and Chen were in a head-to-head battle all day, with both of them inching forward and falling back throughout the round. Tied at six-under still, both golfers birdied the par five 16th to move to seven-under. They then both parred the par three 17th.

On the 18th hole, Osland was able to knock down a 15-foot putt for birdie to win the inaugural tournament eight-under par. Her win also came with a purse of $12,500. Chen won $7,000.

With the win, the Kelowna golfer is now third in the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour standings. The top five golfers at seasons end surpass Stage 1 of the LPGA Qualifying Series.

It's a quick turnaround for Osland as she teed of the tour's next event, the Children's Hospital of Illinois Championship on Wednesday, June 25. The four-day tournament finishes on Saturday, June 28.
