Ribbons for Ryan Shtuka

Ryan Shtuka was last seen in the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 17, after a house party on Burfield Drive in Sun Peaks. Since that time there has been constant searching to find him in the resort community but so far there is no sign. https://ronaldomanosa.com/news/family-continues-search-for-ryan-shtuka-renews-calls-for-tips-and-volunteers/

There is now a concerned and dedicated group of volunteers helping to get the word out about Ryan.

They are helping the Shtuka family by making green ribbons and distributing them to all of the locations below. All of the money raised by the sale of the ribbons through donation will go directly to the Shtuka family to help with expenses while they search for their son.

Here is a photo of part of the crew that made the green ribbons a-week-ago Wednesday in Barriere. Pictured (l-r) are Debbie, Angel, Vicki and Christine. Missing from the photo are Candace and Lianne.

Ribbons have been distributed throughout Barriere at the following locations: Armour Mountain Office Services, Royal Canadian Legion, Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce, RGH Mechanical, Armour Mountain Pub and Beer and Wine Store, Barriere IDA, North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre, Sam’s Pizza and Rib House, Interior Savings Insurance, Petro Can Service Station, and The Blue Jar.
