The Barriere Secondary School Senior Boys Basketball Team are currently competing at the Provincial Championships in Langley. On Wednesday, Mar. 9, the Barriere Cougars (N0. 10 seed) played a hard fought game and came out the upset winners scoring a dramatic 68-66 victory, hitting a three-pointer with less than four seconds to play for the final margin of victory over the No. 7 Meadowridge Gryphons.

The Cougars next task is another Gryphons squad, this time No. 2 Glenylon Norfolk of Victoria. Yesterday Glenlyon Norfolk cruised to a 92-32 win over the Northside Christian Northstars. Barriere is scheduled to play today at 5:15 p.m.
