Dates are expected to be set next week for a hearing to determine just how long a man who shot three men – killing two of them – in South Surrey two years ago should have to wait before he can apply for parole.

Following a trial in B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster, Bryce Dallas Lee Campbell was convicted in February 2025 of two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder, in connection with the brazen July 30, 2022 shootings in South Surrey Athletic Park that killed 19-year-old Jordan Krishna and 20-year-old Robeen Soreni.

In sharing news of the guilty findings, IHIT Sgt. Freda Fong said the jury's determination "delivers a strong message that the taking of two lives and a disregard for public safety will not be tolerated."

Campbell's convictions carry an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for at least 10 years.

Officials with the B.C. Prosecution Service confirmed Thursday (June 19) that Campbell is next due in court on June 26, to set a date for the sentencing hearing.
