Fireworks are returning to Parksville on Aug. 16.
The Quality Foods Festival of Lights will be one of the lasts events to wrap up Parksville Beach Festival 2025.
"We’re excited to once again host our annual Festival of Lights — a themed fireworks and music show that lights up the skies of five Vancouver Island communities each summer," said Regan Beaulieu, marketing specialist for Quality Foods. "Each event is synchronized with a music simulcast and is carefully planned in collaboration with local partners and approved by the respective city councils."
Fireworks are also planned for May 24 in Qualicum Beach, July 1 in Campbell River, Aug. 4 in Comox and Aug. 15 in Powell River.
Parksville Beach Festival will officially wrap up on Aug. 17 with a special concert performance by the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy and the Children’s Sandcastle Competition.
Each show has a unique theme and brings together fireworks, music and community celebration.
