Summerland will host two open houses on its community plan.

The open houses are planned for May 13 and 15, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the second floor of the Ryga Arts and Cultural Centre, 9525 Wharton St.

The open houses are part of the second phase of Summerland’s Official Community Plan.

As part of the update, the municipality is reviewing Summerland’s urban growth boundary.

Residents are invited to share their input on growth and development.

The participant comments will help answer questions such as where growth will occur, how neighbourhoods will grow and how to achieve Summerland’s community vision through managing growth.

A survey will also be provided at the open house, and the survey link will be open after that time for those who cannot attend in person or wish to provide additional feedback.

Information on the Summerland Official Community Plan can be found online at summerlandocp.ca.
