For the second night in a row, Interior Health (IH) says emergency services will be temporarily unavailable at South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver.
The hospital's emergency room is closing from 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, to 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 4.
This comes after IH announced a 19-hour closure at Oliver's emergency room on Friday evening through Saturday morning.
Its most recent service interruption marks the fifth of its kind in 2025, after a slew of regular emergency room closures in 2023 and 2024.
Patients are asked to access emergency care at the Penticton Regional Hospital during this time.
"All other inpatient services will continue at South Okanagan General Hospital," IH said.
