Have your say on primary health care in Cariboo Chilcotin today

A survey put out by the Central Interior Rural Primary Care Network is looking for feedback

The Central Interior Rural Primary Care Network is surveying the community on primary care in the Cariboo Chilcotin.

Covering the area from McLeese Lake to 70 Mile, and Horsefly to Anahim Lake, the survey is available online and takes approximately 15 minutes, according to the organization’s post on Facebook.

The organization is a collective of divisions of family practice, health authority and community partners working together to build networks supporting primary care, this one within the central interior of B.C.

The survey, something the organization’s post said it does annually, compiles data to support anecdotal information about primary health care in the region.

“The Central Interior Rural Primary Care Network wants to support a primary care health care system that works to meet your health care needs,” said their post.

The survey is seeking information on citizens health care needs, where people are going to access health care, what clients do or do not like about their experiences, and what they can do to make the system work better for clients.

People responding to the survey will be invited to enter a draw for a $25 gift card Tim Horton’s, Save-on-Foods, or Fresh Co.
