Barriere residents got to show off their gardens this year for the annual Barriere Blooms contest. The District of Barriere recreation committee judged the event this year and were in awe of the beautiful flower and vegetable gardens around the community. Judging took place throughout August and winners were announced on Aug. 30 during Music in the Park. Congratulations to all the participants and winners.
