The students at Queen Margaret's School took on the challenge of presenting popular musical Mamma Mia! in Duncan in April.
Featuring the music of ABBA, Mamma Mia! tells the story of a young woman who invites the three men who might be her father to her wedding, surprising her mother. High jinks ensue.
A total of 37 students performed in the show, which starred Grade 12 students Chloe Pyne-Mercier and Alex Winterhalt as Donna and Sam.
"Last week, Mamma Mia! lit up the Cowichan Performing Arts stage — and left a lasting imprint on our hearts," said Hayley Picard, QMS's director of communications.
"Behind every dazzling number were countless hours of dedication, passion and teamwork. From intricate choreography to powerful vocals, stunning costumes to flawless production — our students poured their souls into every moment," she said.
"The result? A performance that didn’t just entertain — it moved us. Inspired us. Reminded us of the magic that happens when creativity and community come together.
"We couldn’t be more proud. Bravo to each and every one of our actors, technicians, singers, dancers, set builders and support team members. This is a show we’ll be talking about for years to come.
"A special congratulations to Director, Tilly Lorence on this stupendous production!"
