UPDATE: Both the Lily Pad Lake and Goose Lake wildfires are out.
Two out-of-control wildfires have been spotted near 108 Mile Ranch.
C41200 was discovered on Friday, July 19 at 12:36 p.m., and is around 0.1 hectares in size. BC Wildfire Service is giving the location of the wildfire as being at Lily Pad Lake. C421205, meanwhile, is also 0.1 hectares in size and is located northwest of Goose Lake.
A BCWS Initial Attack crew is on the scene battling the wildfire near Lily Pad Lake, with a helicopter providing air support.
BC Wildfire Service says that the cause of the fire near Lily Pad Lad is currently under investigation but that the suspected cause of the fire near Goose Lake is a dry lightning strike.
