For the second time in under a month Barriere and the immediate area have experienced a large plane flying circles over the communities at a low elevation. The first plane was a Search and Rescue plane which area residents presumed was on a training mission. The most recent was on March 2 when the plane pictured above circled over Barriere and Louis Creek a number of times. This plane was dark grey in colour with a maple leaf under the wings. Training? We imagine so.
