Non-profits and service groups invited to join in Barriere July 1 event

The event will be hosted at the North Thompson Fall Fair facility in Barriere

Local non-profits and service group organizations in Barriere and area are being invited to join Barriere’s July 1st Celebration this year to wish Canada a happy 150th birthday.

The event will be hosted at the North Thompson Fall Fair facility in Barriere, and area non-profits and service organizations are being invited to bring a booth or display and be part of the celebration at no cost to your organization.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 1, with a Celebration of Canada’s Heritage event which will also feature the ‘Bull In The Woods’ Regional Lumberjack/Lumberjill Competitions facilitated by the Laughing Logger Ben Affleck.

The July 1 event is also supported by the  Thompson Nicola Regional District and the District of Barriere
