Gallery: LOOK BACK: Logging in Nahmint Valley
This photo, circa 1983, shows Ron Salsman lying on his side in the undercut at the base of a very large cedar tree. Salsman and his falling partner Tom Dame cut down this tree in the Nahmint Valley in the summer of 1983. The tree had a diameter of 5.8-m and a circumference of 15.8-m.
