Community members in Barriere celebrated the 90th birthday of beloved resident and former Barriere ronaldomanosa, journalism contributor, Elli Kohnert on May 26 at Fadear Park. The days events were a fundraiser for the Better Beginnings Kitten Rescue (The Kohnert Family’s chosen charity) with donations adding up to $405 in honour of Elli a long time animal activist in the area.
