Little Fort residents say the population is expected to double on Sunday, Oct. 30, when the much anticipated Little Fort Craft Sale takes place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. after a two year hiatus when mandated restrictions due to COVID-19 forced the doors at the Little Fort Community Hall to remain closed, this popular event which had been held for the past 48 years was put on hold.
In previous years, over 40 vendors set up in the hall, where throughout the day shoulder to shoulder shoppers could be found on both floors of the building. Consumers from the surrounding communities of 100 Mile House, Barriere, Black Pool, Chu Chua, Clearwater, Interlakes, Little Fort, Lone Butte, Louis Creek and Vavenby could always find something to take home.
Organizers say they already have a large number of confirmed vendors for this year’s event, including; various woodworking, Watkins products, Scentsy, Tupperware, goat milk products, homemade fishing flies, painted shirts, candles, weaving, Christmas decorations, stained glass, kitchen items, silver and gems, clothing and organic garlic.
A concession manned by the Wilson family and representing ‘Dogs with Jobs’ will be available throughout the day.
There will be something for everyone to come on out and help boost Little Fort’s population, even if it is just for one day.
Don’t forget to check out the new community playground and take in the magnificent scenery surrounding the community.
Organizers are hoping to see everyone at the Little Fort Community Hall at the junction of Yellowhead Highway 5 and Highway 24, on Sunday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
