Lions host a fun filled Easter Egg Hunt with help from the Easter Bunny

The Barriere Lions hosted the annual Easter Egg hunt with a huge crowd of kids racing to find out where the Easter Bunny had hidden those yummy treats on Sunday

The annual Lions Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast had families with children hopping around the North Thompson Fall Fair grounds on Sunday, April 20 as a huge crowd gathered to hunt down the delicious sweet treats with the help of parents, the Lions Club volunteers and even their good friend, the Easter Bunny!

The Lions Club volunteers were once again flipping delicious pancakes in the morning for one and all as the Easter Bunny entertained the crowds before the big hunt took place with a record crowd in attendance.

The Easter Bunny seemed to have firsthand knowledge of where goodies and treats were hidden around the fairgrounds - that bunny sure does love hopping around the fairgrounds with the kids each year.

MLA for Kamloops-North Thompson was on hand to help award some baskets and lend a hand along with the District of Barriere mayor and council.

Another happy, hoppy Easter with many memories tucked away in those baskets and bags for another year thanks to the Barriere Lions Club, the Royal Canadian Legion in Barriere, IDA Pharmacy, the District of Barriere and the TNRD.
