This week Ms. Harpman, Ms. Eustache and Ms. Phillips took over 40 grade eight and nine students to the Dunn Creek Hatchery for Coho Day. A special thank you to our partners at Simpcw Fisheries for hosting students and providing lunch.
Today BSS held a Lock-down Drill with the assistance of the Barriere RCMP detachment. Overall, the students participated well and took the exercise seriously. We will continue to practice all emergency drills as we move through the school year.
I am pleased to share that BSS will be adding a free continental breakfast on Monday and Friday beginning next week. Toast, yogurt, fruit and juice will be available to all students. This is in addition to the existing breakfast program Tuesday through Thursday.
